Our Mission

The Women's Assistance Center in Milan, established in February 2021, arose in response to the urgent need to assist and protect women facing domestic violence and abuse, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Our mission: to provide a safe haven and comprehensive support, empowering women to break free from violence and oppression. Founded and led by women, we strive to create an inclusive space where every woman's voice is valued, her dignity upheld, and her journey towards healing supported. Beyond individual aid, we actively combat gender-based violence, raising awareness and advocating for systemic reforms to safeguard women's rights and end discrimination. Together, we envision a future where every woman thrives, liberated from fear and violence, empowered to achieve her full potential in a just and equitable society.
